Siyaya Trucks aid fresh produce transport in Alice

A successful Land Reform Farmers Project in the Alice community, involving 100 local farm-workers, have benefitted from a truck handover worth R320 000, from national skills development company, Siyaya Skills Institute. This will aid the transport of their fresh produce to secured outlets.

Incorrect EE reports 'fraudulent'

Companies which over-state information in their employment equity reports are guilty of fraud, the department of labour said on Friday.

Spokesperson for the Commission for Employment Equity (CEE), Mpho Nkeli, said in a statement that employees informed her that "employers tend to overstate the representation of black people at management levels".
