1. Trained to Certification, some of the first Learnership groups for SETA.
  2. Trained and assessed more than 13000 delegates since inception.
  3. Formed partnerships with disability organizations i.t.o. disability awareness.
  4. Established Public Private Partnerships with FET colleges.
  5. Trained and assessed more than 4000 people with disabilities on vocational learnerships.
  6. Assisted in placing people with disabilities in full time employment.
  7. Awarded the Best Provider Service Delivery— SSETA National Awards 2005.
  8. Awarded SDF of the Year twice - SSETA Awards 2004 and 2007.
  9. Acquired SSETA 3 Star Customer Service Grading.
  10. Director of Siyaya Skills Institute, Brent Oakes, was chosen as one of the "Top 40 under 40" business people of 2012, by the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber through the facilitation of placement of our Cleaning Qualification learners in workplace experience, assisted more than 11. disadvantaged community schools to improve Cleaning and Hygiene conditions for their students, likewise assisted these schools, by placing Business Administration learners in these schools for their administration workplace experience.
  11. Participated in the Just Inspired Campaign to upgrade Community school facilities.
  12. The SSETA Siyaya learner choir participated in laying down vocals on a track by Canadian singer, Justin Hines, at the SABC called “Say what you will”. All funds received were contributed to the Association for the Physically Disabled in the Eastern Cape.
  13. Awarded Supplier of the year for International components manufacturing company 2014.
